Knots Out is a private pain and mobility clinic focused on results-driven, highly personalized bodywork. We specialize in addressing chronic pain, restricted mobility, and long-standing issues through comprehensive assessments and tailored techniques — not relaxation massage. Every session is intentional, adaptive, and centered on helping clients move and live better.

We are looking for a charismatic, open-minded Licensed Massage Therapist who is eager to fully embrace and apply Karren’s techniques and philosophy to deliver meaningful, lasting results for clients.

This role is ideal for a therapist who:

  • Is not focused on spa or relaxation massage

  • Enjoys problem-solving, assessment, and treatment planning

  • Values learning, adapting, and growing clinically

  • Thrives in a one-on-one, client-centered environment

Responsibilities

  • Perform thorough client intakes and movement/pain assessments

  • Develop and execute custom treatment plans for each session

  • Apply advanced therapeutic techniques with intention and precision

  • Educate clients on their body, movement patterns, and progress

  • Maintain accurate session notes and documentation

  • Uphold a professional, compassionate, and confident presence

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Hawaii Massage Therapy License

  • Experience with Myofascial Release (required)

  • Strong understanding of anatomy and biomechanics

  • Ability to work independently in a private clinic setting

  • Carry personal malpractice insurance

  • Bring your own sheets/linens

  • Open to learning and fully embodying Knots Out techniques
